Keith Robinson, the man behind Asterisk*, one of my favorite blogs out there, wrote an interesting post: Non-Standard Code Hurts The Bottom Line. He discusses proc and cons (well, mostly pros) of sticking to web standards-compliant code whenever possible as opposed to working with the outdated tag soup.
