Managed Extensions Framework (MEF) Looks Interesting

When Brad Abrams posted a Simple Introduction to Extensible Applications with the Managed Extensions Framework, I read it and thought, “What a monstrosity.”

Then I read it again, and it made more sense.

Then I watched a recording of Glenn Block’s MEF talk at PDC 2008, and it made even more sense.

Brad also points to ScottGu’s MEF keynote from PDC, which I haven’t seen yet, but all this whets my appetite in a big way. I don’t think we’re going to see a mega-battle of IoC (Inversion of Control) containers, though, because MEF is a different beast.
