In a recent newsletter, Apress offered an interesting book for free. The title is Google, Amazon, and Beyond: Creating and Consuming Web Services which you can download as a PDF.

If you keep the score in the SOAP vs. REST battle, I think you’ll find this book helpful. Chapter 5, Authentication and REST, was of special interest to me.
